ABC Stefan

ABC Stefan is an artist-specimen-accordion-book hybrid which examines what it means to take something as personal as an artist’s handwriting and make it accessible for others to use. It was published to celebrate the release of ABC Stefan, a digitisation of the artist Stefan Marx’s personal handwriting. The artist book features 2.5m of glyphs, Stefan Marx's A-Z of drawings, an essay by design writer and curator Billie Muraben, and a poem-artwork by the grandfather of zine-making, AA Bronson.
